February 8, 2025, was a special day for Gitis employees: a day of solidarity, volunteering, and fun, thanks to the organization of the Fabrizio Pedrocchi Sarnico 2001 Ski Club, which for years has been making the impossible possible: allowing special kids to ski. Upon arriving at the Tonale Pass, we at Gitis met the special skiers, their chaperones, the instructors, and all the volunteers participating in this project.
The stories of the kids told by their parents moved us, and everyone realized how important this experience is to them. We were shown the specially built equipment, and we all cheered the kids on as they skied down the slopes.
Their strength of spirit is impressive, and we tangibly felt the happiness those moments bring them, through their gazes, their smiles, and their enthusiasm. Gitis has supported the Special program for years and wanted to convey its value to its staff by making this experience possible. A gift, in our opinion, that we experienced a memorable and emotional day.
