Seals and Gaskets” award at the IHTA 2024
Last September 2024, during the Hydrogen-Expo trade fair in Piacenza, on the night of the IHTA – Italian Hydrogen Technology Awards, GITIS triumphed in the “Technological Innovation” category, taking home the “Components and Materials – Seals and Gaskets” award for the following reason:
“For the EBS – Edge Bonding Sealing Technology project, focused on research into materials and sealing solutions in stackable panels for hydrogen production in PEM electrolyzers.”
The solution produced offers several advantages, many of which are related to the assembly and production phase of the electrolyzers, reducing times and costs. This results in improved production process efficiency and scalability.
The IHTA – Italian Hydrogen Technology Award – was created to recognize the outstanding talent and expertise of companies operating in the hydrogen technology sector, both in Italy and abroad. We are extremely proud of this achievement, and this award represents the first of many goals that Gitis, with its team and its distinctive technology, aims to achieve.
